Astronauts entered every command as a two-digit Verb plus a two-digit Noun. The Verb described an action; the Noun described which data the action applied to.
Standard sequence: VERB (key) → nn (Verb digits) → NOUN (key) → nn (Noun digits) → ENTR. The display flashes during entry and steadies on completion.
Try these:
· V35E — light every digit and lamp at once. All displays read 88888.
· V37E 00E — return to P00 idle.
· V37E 11E — begin P11, the Saturn V boost monitor (V06N62 with live velocity, altitude rate, and altitude).
· V16N36E — continuously monitor the mission timer in HH/MM/SS.
· V06N17E — display the spacecraft attitude (pitch / yaw / roll).
· V69E — force a restart (raises the RESTART lamp).

The 1202 alarm made history during Apollo 11's lunar descent — the AGC's executive overflowed but was robust enough that landing continued. The Demo Mission reproduces it. When it fires, press RSET to acknowledge and watch the descent continue.
